Tea Area School District was established in 2003, and the wrestling program began in the 2004-2005 School under Coach Dale Daugherty. In 2007, Cody Schuiling became the first medalist in school history with his 8 th -place finish at heavyweight.
In 2009, the Titans moved up to Class A. In his Tenure, Dale coached 3 different State Medalists, who visited the podium a total of 6 times. John Niesen became the school’s second head coach in 2016-2017 and is still leading the program. Quincy Hulverson was the school’s first finalist in 2019, and became the first State Champion in 2020.
