Motivation Monday: Poem to live by! Good Timber

The poem is one of my favorites: my dad Bert Gums had memorized this poem as a kid in a country school in Logan Co. He had attended until he went to high school his freshman year in 1960 and had told it to me… so I am guessing he memorized it sometime in the 1950’s and somehow remembered it almost 50 years later.  I fell in love with it…  So I dedicate this to my dad!

I started making a video and was starting to put my voice to the video but honestly got too emotional for me to finish… Here is the video… without my voice…

Then I found this one on youtube… where someone with a better voice than mine, already put it together…
