Know your Passion.
I thought I should write a mini-course on this subject, but I am not sure where to start… Maybe this is it.
I will start by trying to define what passion means to me.
Passion for promoting a sport means having a strong and enthusiastic interest in increasing awareness and participation in a particular sport. Like everyone here knows… Mine is wrestling. It involves a deep sense of commitment to the sport and a desire to share its benefits and joys with others.
When someone has a passion for promoting a sport, they are motivated to take action to grow the sport in their community, region, state, or even on a national or international level. This may involve organizing events, creating marketing campaigns, building relationships with athletes and teams, and working with local organizations to increase access and participation.
Passion could be working with local media: You can also work with local media outlets, such as newspapers or TV stations, radio, or even YouTube or even blogs to promote wrestling in your area. You can pitch stories about local wrestlers or tournaments, and provide interviews or quotes about the benefits of the sport.
Passion for promoting a sport also often involves a desire to inspire and motivate others to take up the sport and experience its benefits. This can involve sharing personal stories, providing coaching or mentorship, and serving as a role model for others who are interested in the sport.
Overall, passion for promoting wrestling is my driving force it can help to grow the sport and create a community of enthusiasts who share a common love for this sport.
Passion is a driving force… I heard this saying once, I have it posted in my classroom, author unknown it might have been Tony Robbins? “Passion and Purpose are inseparable. When you’re passionate it leads you to your purpose. When you are purposeful it unleashes your passion.”
Here are the first five reason why being passionate is important you can put this toward anything you strive at maybe your job, your hobbies, YOUR PASSION etc
In short, passion is important because it gives us direction, motivation, creativity, well-being, and community. It is a powerful force that can help us live more fulfilling and meaningful lives.
I started this process with my oldest son, who is finishing college and he had asked me how do I find my passion… He said, “you found your passion wrestling. How do I find mine?” I had not really put it into words so I did some research with him… This is the first list we came up with. (I got a lot of this from different internet searches… Summary..
Asking these questions can help you identify your passions and find meaningful ways to pursue them. Remember, finding your passion can be a process of discovery, so don’t be afraid to experiment and try new things until you find what resonates with you.
Here are the questions we are working on right now…
What a way to start a mini-course… which I really don’t know how to do… but I am a teacher and a Lesson Plan might be the next step I take… turn those questions into a workable worksheet… ideas, ideas, ideas… If you want more… let me know… I just might be talking to myself… nothing new!
