The Pierre girls wrestling team easily captured the team title at Friday’s Governor Girls Wrestling Invitational.

Pierre racked up 171 points, well ahead of Harrisburg (101.5) and Rapid City Stevens (83). Bon Homme/Scotland/Avon (80) and Spearfish (68) rounded out the top-five teams.

The Governors recorded a number of high finishes but had just one champion, Abbigail Lewis (152) who improved her record to 24-0.
