I believe that's correct, he was upper 270's towards the end of his senior year if I remember right. Under 290 but over 270 somewhere

Based on the research I started a few years back to try and compile some of this and realized real quick I could not do it by myself, here are the top 3 records that I came across out west. These may not be exact or what the parents etc. had, but again it's close. What is official who knows since no one has them. I think I used the old SDHSAA site of archives to get these, which only went back to like 2005 and you had to do the math from the old style brackets.

Jarrett Jensen 280-24

Aero Amo- 269-49

Kris Klapprodt 264-24
