Region 3 for the B's is stacked.  6 of the 14 weights, have the top ranked kid, and 5 of the 14 weights have the 2nd ranked kid.

113 has 3,4,5,6

120 has 1,2,4,8

132 has 1,2,4,5

145 has 1,3,5

182 has 1, 2, 3, 4

Plus plenty more with multiple.  I just listed weights with 3 or more in the top 5

This is always one of my favorite discussions. We can speculate before state but the real proof is after placing happens. Then you can say "Wow, 3B 182 had 4 of the top 5 placers" or "3 of the top 5 at 126 are from region 4"

Always interesting to dive into!

Some of the toughest appear to be:

1A 106 (4 in top 6)  3B 113 (4 in top 6)

1A 132 (4 in top 6)  3B 120 (4 in top 8)

2A 138 (4 in top 7)  3B 132 (4 in top 5)

3A 220 (4 in top 6)  4B 170 (4 in top 8)

3A 285 (4 in top 6)  3B 182 (4 out of top 4!)

2B 195 (4 in top 7)  2B 285 (4 in top 6)

 

All speculation still, but very interesting to look at!
