Summer Slam : Sioux Falls Intensive Wrestling Camp

Join us for a high-paced week of training with the area's best clinicians. This camp is geared to take wrestlers to the next level of intensity and belief in their offense, scrambling ability, and re-attacks. We want to give wrestlers in the Sioux Falls area an opportunity to learn from the best without having to leave the area. 

• • Dates: June 10,11,12,13,14
  • Location: Lincoln High School (2900 S Cliff Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57105) 
  • Age Group: Open to male and female wrestlers going into grades 7-12
  • Skill Level: minimum 2 years of wrestling, this camp is geared to athletes who already possess more than basic wrestling fundamentals.
  • Camp Fees:
    • Cost $110 (Similar camps would cost beyond $400)
    • SFSD wrestlers $60
    • Cash or check made payable to Lincoln High School
  • Clinicians: Augustana Varsity Wrestlers  & SFSD Coaches
    • Cael Larson, Coy Gunderson, Max Balow, Max Ramberg

• Camp Focuses:

• • Hand Fighting
  • Situational wrestling
  • How to drill and how to be a good drill partner.
  • How to put 2-3 attacks together to secure takedowns 
  • How to scramble to score
  • Re-attacks… scoring on opponents' attacks.
  • Live sparring sessions to put your skills to the test.

 

Daily Schedule: Monday - Friday 

9:00 - 9:30 Check-in and announcements

9:30 - 11:30: Session 1 (technique and hard drilling)

11:30 - 12:30: Lunch/Break (we will provide a light lunch)

12:30 - 3:00: Session 2 (technique, sparing and live wrestling)
