Those that have already pre-registered for this tournament have been or will be notified. For others who were still on the fence or waiting...it has been CANCELLED. We have decided to cancel for a couple of reasons, and are hoping our new qualification and registration process will be easier for all. Parents, coaches and wrestlers be thinking if your wrestler wants to participate in this awesome dual team event! Right now, our intentions are to be at the SDWCA AAU state event and hand out fliers to those on the podium within the appropriate age/grade classes. The flier will have specific details related to the event, required costs, lodging information, and a deadline to respond for your wrestler's intent to participate. Heartland Duals is open to 1st-8th grade boys and girls.
Information for you to think about is: April 14-16,2022 (14th is weigh-ins, Wrestle 15th&16th)/ Council Bluffs, IA/ Full USA Card membership required/ Folkstyle
Parents will be responsible for getting their child to and from the event. Blocks of rooms have been reserved and information will be provided once teams are being determined.
Elementary weight classes for the event are as follows: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 120, 130, 140 and 160. For 1st-6th grade
Middle School weight classes for the event are as follows: 75, 80, 85, 90, 95 102, 110, 117, 125, 132, 140, 150, 160, 175, 195, 220, 275. For 6th-8th grade
Women's division - Grade 1st through 8th grade. A wrestler cannot be 16 and wrestle in this event. All other criteria is same as other divisions mentioned above. Weight classes are as follow: 58, 65, 73, 82, 89, 97, 102, 109, 117, 126, 138, 150 & 165
