SIOUX FALLS, S.D.--Augustana wrestling travels north to Minot, North Dakota, and Bismarck, North Dakota for matchups with Minot State and UMary this weekend. Both the Saturday and Sunday duals are slated to begin at 2 p.m.

The Beavers

Minot State enters the dual with a 1-4 record after most recently defeating the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs last weekend. The team is 1-3 in conference action.

The Beavers have one nationally-ranked wrestler on their roster in Jake Swirple. Swirple is ranked at No. 9 in the 285 pound weight category with a 2-0 record.

The Marauders

UMary is nationally ranked at No. 20 entering the dual with the Vikings. The Marauders hold a record of 9-1 overall and 3-1 in conference action. The team's only loss is to the Wisconsin-Parkside Rangers.

The Marauders have four individuals that are nationally ranked on their roster. At 133 pounds, Reece Barnhardt is ranked at No. 8. Braydon Huber is ranked at No. 10 for Mary in the 157 pound weight class. Max Bruss is ranked at No. 9 at 174 pounds. Rounding out the rankings for the Marauders is Matt Kaylor, ranked at No. 10 in the 197 pound weight class.

The Vikings

No. 10 Augustana is coming off of a dual victory at MSU Moorhead that saw eight wrestlers earn wins. Jaxson Rohman, Brayden Curry, Kage Lenger, Hunter Burnett, Miles Fitzgerald, Dylan Schuck, Daniel Bishop and Steven Hajas were victorious in the dual.

Jaxson Rohman, competing at 125 pounds, holds a spot at No. 4 in the latest individual rankings. Rohman defeated opponents from Northern State and Southwest Minnesota State in January to move up one spot in the rankings. Rohman also defeated his MSU Moorhead opponent by fall last Saturday. In the central region rankings, Rohman is ranked at No. 2.

Jack Huffman is ranked at No. 6. Huffman's two victories over Northern State and Southwest Minnesota State opponents. Previously ranked at No. 7 at 133 pounds, Huffman moves up one spot in the rankings. Huffman is also regionally ranked at No. 3.

In the seventh spot at 174 pounds is Cade Mueller. Mueller holds an overall record of 12-2 and recorded a win against a Northern State opponent. Mueller is regionally ranked at four.

Kolby Kost, competing at 184 pounds, comes in at the 12th spot in the national rankings. Kost logged a win over a Northern State opponent and holds a 15-6 overall record. Kost's regional ranking sees him in the fourth spot.

Steven Hajas is ranked at No. 8 at 285 pounds. Hajas defeated Northern State and Southwest Minnesota State opponents in January. Hajas defeated his MSU Moorhead opponent by 5-4 decision last weekend. He also holds the second spot in the central region rankings.

Five wrestlers are regionally ranked for Augustana with No. 4 Brandon Carroll at 141 pounds, No. 5 Keaten Schorr at 149 pounds, No. 5 Tyler Wagener at 157 pounds, No. 4 Miles Fitzgerald at 165 pounds and No. 5 Daniel Bishop at 197 pounds.
