With that in mind, USA Wrestling invites all present or past state champions to compete at its respected National High School Recruiting Showcase this year. This special event, created last year, is a great opportunity for state champions to test themselves at the highest level and show their abilities to college coaches and recruiters.

 

Sounds a lot like how Senior Nationals in Pittsburgh used to be, had to be a finalist just to qualify, very tough tournament before they moved it to Virginia Beach and let everyone in. I do like how they have some qualifier tournaments in addition though to get guys in that haven’t been able to win it yet but are extremely good and can compete at the college level.
