The Viking Wrestling Club (use to be called SMI) is hosting a series of Freestyle Practice sessions. Here are the details:
Freestyle Practice Sessions
- Time: 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM
- Dates: March 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 25, 28 and April 4, 8, 11, 15, 18, 22, 25
- Cost: $125 per participant
- Location: Augustana University Wrestling Room, 2505 S Grange Ave, Sioux Falls, SD
Please Note: Participants must have a full-tiered USA Wrestling Membership, which can be purchased at usawmembership.com.
This is a unique chance for wrestlers to practice freestyle wrestling, known for its emphasis on takedowns, and dynamic moves. Our practices are designed to cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced wrestlers, providing an environment that fosters growth, learning, and competition. Last year we had over 20 state placewinners train at these practices.
The fee for the entire series of practices is $125, which we believe is an investment in the athletes' future in the sport. Expert coaching and guidance will be provided by Chism Fink and the talented coaching staff of the Viking Wrestling Club.
