Madison, SD would like to see a North Dakota team come down for our 2022 Varsity Wrestling Invitational next season on Dec. 17th. Madison is 1 hour straight south of Watertown and 2 hours away from Sisseton. We have a very large gym with an auxiliary gym 5 steps away from our main gym. We put down 5 mats this year and if we get a couple more teams, we will put down a 6th mat this next year. We start at 9:00 am and were done this year by 5:15. We have both boys and girls divisions and give out Outstanding Wrestler, Most Falls in the least Amount of Time, and Team Champion medals for both the Boys and Girls divisions. We get teams from all over South Dakota and 1 from Omaha Nebraska.
Here are the teams that attended this season: Brookings, Chamberlain, Dell Rapids, Flandreau, Hamlin/Castlewood, Harrisburg, Huron (Girls Only), Iroquois/Doland, Kingsbury County, Lennox, Madison, Omaha Central, Rapid City Stevens, Sioux Falls Lincoln, Sioux Falls O’Gorman, Spearfish, Sturgis, Tea Area, Viborg/Hurley (Girls Only) and West Central
