Team Stars is 1-1, beat Colorado and lost to Iowa black. As far as I can tell ia black is the top seed.

Team stripes is 2-0, beat team SD and team catholic grey out of Cleveland. Has #3 seed Missouri next round.

It's on Track Wrestling.  Search using the word "Heartland"

Heartland duals are Elementary (k-6). The middle school duals (6-8) are different and are not on track...

Stars went 4-1 overall, lost to Iowa black and beat Ohio, montana, south Dakota, and Colorado.

Stripes finished 2-3, won against lake gray cotholic and south Dakota, lost to Missouri, Kansas, and Montana.

I can give a little info on the Duals but hopefully Mitch will post more complete results.  The Stripes went 4-1 on Saturday and were put into the Silver pool where took 7th, losing a close dual to a team OH, then losing to the Iowa Hawk before beating  a team from Kansas for 7th.

The Stripes were put into the copper pool where they took 4th.

I know of some of the Individual medalists put not a complete list.

Gold 8-0
Riley Lura   Carrington

Silver 7-1
Jared Franek Tech Team
Tristan Hall
Jake Sanders Bismarck
Brandyn Harr Jamestown
Paxton Mewes Jamestown

Bronze 6-2
Walker Carr  Carrington
Jesse Shearer Tech Team/West Fargo
Braydin Horgan NBC

Copper 5-3
Billy Holtan  Carrington
Brandon Metz Tech Team

I hope that is correct but I am sure it is not :)

Riley looked pretty dominant, never really had a close match.

Jacob rader did not medal, but Tristan Hall was silver medalist, Brandon Metz was also a copper medalist, Braydin Horgan was Bronze. As mentioned Jake sanders was silver too. Those 4 were on stripes. I don't have the paper with stars in front of me, but they had 8 medalists making 12 total.

Both Brandyn Harr, and Paxton Mewes received the silver medal on the stars team.

I think it is worth mentioning our deepest appreciation to Kayle Dangrud, Shawn Horgan, Mike Roberts, Mitch Greenwood, Deen Shearer and whoever else is involved putting these teams together for both the Middle School Duals in IA, and the Elementary Duals in NE this last weekend.  For their time and hard work to organize these teams of young wrestlers.  I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for taking care of and making sure that Paxton didn't wrestle his last two matches with a concussion.  You are each welcome at our diner table when ever you are in Jamestown.

Paxton has been to both tournaments, and if there is ever a parent in the state of North Dakota debating about letting their child attend.  It is one of the best experiences your child could have.  Very well done guys!!!!!

Thank You

John & Tammy Mewes

Thanks to all who put these teams together and make it affordable.....every kid in the state should be trying out for these teams(Elementary & Middle School) and then maybe we could take 3 or 4 teams.....it's an awesome experiance!! Dean Shearer deserves a lot of credit for doing hours upon hours of fundraising to make these trips so affordable and fun. Here is a list of people that I saw helping with the middle school teams and all should be thanked and very much appreciated!!! It can be tough coaching kids you don't know anything about but these guys did a great job and it was nice to see kids from all over the state come together as a team.

Kayle Dangerud
Mike Roberts
Darrin Galt
Josh Kerbaugh
Shawn Franek
Lance Schultz
Mitch Greenwood
Shon Horgan
