Topic: Junior National Dual Team--Informal Survey

Any wrestler who is interested in being selected for a spot on Team North Dakota for the Greco/Freestyle Junior Dual Teams should contact me through email: (scott_knowlen@bismarckschools.org)  Please provide name and desired weight class.  Weight classes are the same as our high school weights with the addition of a 100 lb. weight class.  There will be approximately 24 available spots.  In addition, USAW of North Dakota will be funding a significant portion of the per wrestler cost.

Keep in mind your participation at the Greco/Freestyle State Tournament is required unless you've received a waiver based on injury or another acceptable reason.  Also, the Junior division is based on grade, not age.  Those who will be completing grades 9-12 are eligible.

The actual tourney is in Oklahoma City, OK from June 26-30 (http://www.themat.com/events/default.php?page=schedule&EventID=26181), but the team would meet in Fargo for a couple of days of training prior to departure. 

Once it's been determined that there is enough interest to field a team, more specific information will be disseminated.

Joe Bakke from Carrington has committed.... He took 2nd at 120 lbs this season.... he will wrestle at a higher weight class for FR/GR.... he put on a few pounds.... not sure where you need him Scott?
