Brakes or Breaks?  Lehman or Lehmann?

Must be a West Fargo student showing off that West Fargo education.

Must be another person from another Class A school that hates on West Fargo. Also _Latitude, I commend you for your superb knowledge of how to correctly spell Break and Brake as well as Lehman and Lehmann. A cookie for you.

I almost forgot to mention, Congrats to Preston! That's a pretty unbelievable feat! Especially as a Junior. Can't wait to watch him wrestle next year!

I may be wrong, and I apologize if I am, but I believe he broke the record for pins in a single season for Class A. The previous record was 40 by Marc Mellmer of Dickinson I think, and Preston had 41 this season.

2nd place is the 1st loser.

Probably should be a * next to Mellmer's name in the record books, as wrestlers are now allowed 5 more matches before the regional tournament I believe.  Either way, a great accomplishment by both wrestlers.

If you are referring to the Ford Christopher Frick who according to wikipedia passed away in 1978, then yes, it most certainly is.

Baseball comissioner Ford Frick.
The * and reference to more games in which to break the record (Roger Maris - HR Record).   Very funny!

An asterick would not be needed this year as Preston only had 40 matches prior to Regions, which was the limit in past years.

Preston's pins by the grade:
7th grade   10
8th grade   20
9th grade   37
10th grade 31
11th grade 42
total 140.

Current state record is held by Marc Mellmer at 165.  Marc also holds a few state records for most pins by weight class.
