According to the last rankings, Parkston was not ranked!  Someone tell me how then do they win Region 3B over 2nd ranked Wagner?

While they may have had more guys place at the region tourney, the ranking gods don't see Parkston pulling as high of placings as Wagner will. Think about it. Wagner has 3 very possible state champs that I can think of right off the bat, and some other high placers. These will put up more points than what Parkston has. Now, should they be ranked? Maybe. But they won't place higher at state than Wagner
If you're going down, go down big!

I understand that!  If that's the case, according to the last rankings will EPJ, Beresford, Howard, and Winner place higher than Parkston?

EPJ and Canton have had injury issues.  Beresford has 4 or 5 really good kids that could place high.  Winner looks tough but not very deep.  Parkston is more balanced.  Balance can win regions, but it  takes studs to win state.  I believe Parkston is on the verge of having a team full of studs.  They are young and improving rapidly.  Whether they have improved enough is the question.  Winning a region is one thing, state is another.  Last year Tri-Valley struggled after winning the region.  We will see what lessons they learned from it very soon.  Parkstons time is coming, I just don't know if their time is now.
