I hope he does go on to become an Olympic wrestling champion.   Maybe he will never be the superstar like Brock but who needs that.
If your not first your last.

i hope logan can resist the money for blood attraction of mma.
the whole point of setting up rules for a martial arts contest is that you can compete longterm.
my son was a state champ, four year acedemic all american in college who went a long way with wrestling. had litrally hundreds of matches, with no long term injuries.
mma has no protection for the fighters from repeated blows to the head.  in south dakota they don't even have a doctor ringside. or insurance.  i understand the attraction for wrestlers. they are scrappers.   but they need to remember that life is long, and they will need their brains.

I agree with you. I seen a study somewhere that showed how after 7 years (if the fighter lasts that long) how a certain man could take major blows to the head and face and not miss a beat early on in his career, gets hit a fraction as hard and loses conciessness. The three that I remember were Wanderlei Silva, Randy Couture and Chuck Liddel. I have always enjoyed MMA, and even considered doing it years ago. Now days, I just enjoy watching it, but fear the inevitable is someone dies from an elbow to the head.

I was wondering where you got your facts about SD mma promotions from? I ask this because I'm a matchmaker for one promotion, and run my own promotion in this state as well. Not every person who does MMA long term ends up messed up?

If you think MMA is a dangerous sport you should look up articles about football players after their careers.... Most people are so misinformed about the sport its crazy. I played FB in HS and their were more serious injuries there than I've seen in 3 yrs of being involved in MMA.

He did fight in Redfield and won the belt.  The guy he fought was legit but Storley won by major decision.

the guy he fought didn't even make weight, but he still did end up fighting him , went all 3 rounds, pretty good fight!

Lol nice try funny guy.... Since I just got out of the marine reserves as an NCO; and am a few months away from obtaining my bachelors degree, it would seem like your making another ignorant conclusion. Don't play intellect games with me..... YOU WILL LOSE! Lol

Wasn't playing games and my conclusion wasn't from ignorance. Not all injuries show up right away whether it be to the brain or another part of the body. I don't have any degrees and I wasn't a marine like you but you can pray that you will never have to fight the real life experience that I have and I'll be fighting that fight every day for the rest of my life. That's why most of my post are so short, it takes more effort than I want to put out most of the time. I started this fight in January of 97 when doctors found and removed a tumor from the center of my spinal cord in the C3 & C4 area of my neck. My MRI images of my spinal cord look like a hour glass. I won't go over the problems that I now live with except to say I'm lucky that I'm not in a wheel chair. Doctors suspect  this was a result of an injury in my youth. If I had a chance to live life all over again I would still play football and wrestle but there are other things I wouldn't do. Needless to say I was never in a cage and I never made it to the ring. My opponent had about 20 fights and it would of been my first, I wasn't ignorant, I didn't fight. I wish the best of heath to those that take up this form of fighting and may the $$$ role in and have a happy valentine's day.
