weightlifting is the most important part in wrestling, well in any sport for that matter but in wrestling ecspecially. I got a great weightlifting program for you wrestlers out there that will creat explosiveness and strength in less then a month. Just let me know and i'll give it to you, i may even do it for free.

I'm with well armed on this one. Weight lifting is important but I wouldn't say key.  I think technique is most important to success.  Also I'm a huge fan of plyo.  I advocate p90 because it incorporates resistance training followed by a day of cardio alternating for six days.  It also has yoga in there for flexibility.  whatever program u use you have to have both cardio and resistance and if you want help for wrestling i would say 3-4 days of core work as well.

What programs do teams/wrestlers use for lifting?

I know in H.S. we always used the Bigger/Faster/Stronger system and it seemed to be a great work out. It definitely produced results!
